Early-Stage Research Development

microDAO’s primary focus is supporting projects through the "valley of death" stage, where promising drug candidates often fail due to funding gaps. It will prioritise early-stage research projects, particularly in lead optimisation and hit-lead stages for emerging pathogens or areas with sparse development pipelines. This includes support for innovative approaches like alternative therapies and novel drug targets, as well as interdisciplinary projects combining antimicrobial development with diagnostics or vaccines.
