DAO Way of Working

Key aspects of a DAO way of working include:

  • Community Governance and Decision-making: MicroDAO empowers its stakeholders to participate in governance rather than relying on a central authority. Decisions about funding, projects, and strategy are made collectively, with voting rights distributed among MICRO token-holding members based on predetermined rules. This ensures that diverse voices are heard and that the direction of the organisation reflects the interests and insights of its community.

  • Transparent allocation of funds: All financial transactions within the DAO are recorded on a blockchain, ensuring transparency in how funds are allocated.

  • Collaborative partnerships with researchers, institutions, and industry: microDAO aims to generate a collaborative environment and bring together stakeholders from all stages: research, development and commercialisation to support the continual development of antimicrobials, diagnostics and vaccines and help us stay a few steps ahead of emergent resistance.
